Loss and Liberation offers this website (the "Site"), including all information, tools, and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
By visiting our Site, purchasing merchandise, or registering for our events, workshops, or retreats, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms, conditions, and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the Site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any Services.
SECTION 1 - PROFESSIONAL DISCLAIMER & SCOPE OF SERVICES
The services, workshops, circles, and retreats facilitated by Loss and Liberation are designed exclusively for holistic personal growth, experiential education, community connection, and somatic exploration. The founder of Loss and Liberation serves as a facilitator and coach, holding professional training and certifications as a Certified Grief Support Specialist, Registered Addiction Recovery Counselor, Microdosing Support Facilitator, Certified Yoga Teacher, Breathwork Facilitator, and Herbal Apprentice.
You explicitly acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding the scope of our Services:
No Medical or Psychological Treatment: Our Services, website content, and event frameworks do not constitute, and are not a substitute for, professional medical advice, clinical diagnosis, psychiatric care, or licensed psychological therapy.
No Practitioner-Client Relationship: Engagement with our Site, purchasing products, or participating in our events does not establish a clinical, medical, or psychotherapeutic practitioner-client relationship between you and Loss and Liberation or its facilitators.
Participant Responsibility: Our offerings are not designed to treat, cure, or diagnose any medical or mental health condition. If you require clinical mental health treatment, psychiatric intervention, or medical attention, you are advised to seek the care of a licensed healthcare professional.
By registering for our Services or purchasing any offerings from this Site, you confirm that you are entering into these experiences with full self-awareness and that you assume sole legal and financial responsibility for your own psychological, mental, and emotional well-being.
SECTION 2 - EVENT PARTICIPATION & PHYSICAL SAFETY
Our Services include the organization and facilitation of local workshops and international retreats (including, but not limited to, travel experiences in Bali) which may involve physical movement, yoga, somatic breathwork, and local travel excursions.
Fitness for Participation: By registering for any event, workshop, or retreat, you warrant and represent that you are physically fit, medically cleared, and capable of safely participating in all associated activities.
Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily, knowingly, and expressly assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with event participation, international travel logistics, physical movement, and instructional activities.
Release of Liability: You agree that Loss and Liberation, its founder, affiliates, and contracted facilitators shall not be held liable for any personal injury, illness, medical emergency, property damage, monetary loss, or travel disruptions incurred during or in connection with our events.
SECTION 3 - PAYMENTS, RETREAT DEPOSITS, & CANCELLATIONS
All financial transactions conducted through the Site are listed in USD and processed securely via our designated third-party payment gateway, Wix Payments.
Deposit Policy: Financial deposits required to secure admission to our events and retreats are strictly non-refundable. Exceptions to this policy will only be executed if the specified event is formally canceled by Loss and Liberation, or if verified, severe, and unforeseen circumstances legally or physically prohibit your ability to travel.
Modification of Services: We reserve the right at any time to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of our offerings.
SECTION 4 - PRODUCT RETURNS & REFUNDS
We strive to ensure the highest quality for all physical merchandise distributed through our Site.
Defective or Damaged Goods: In the event that a physical product arrives damaged or defective, refunds or replacements are accepted within fourteen (14) days of the original purchase date.
Return Procedure: To initiate a return, you must contact us at lacyeloo@wildlistening.com within the 14-day window, providing your order verification and photographic evidence of the defect.
Exclusions: Due to the highly limited nature of our inventory, items returned due to a change of mind must be unopened, unused, and return-shipped at the consumer's expense. All digital product purchases and event ticket sales are final and non-refundable unless otherwise explicitly stated in writing.
SECTION 5 - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All content distributed via this Site—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, brand names, proprietary workshop materials, curricula, and digital designs—is the exclusive intellectual property of Loss and Liberation. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, exploit, or redistribute any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without express written permission from us.
SECTION 6 - ACCURACY OF BILLING & ORDER REGULATION
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email and/or billing address provided at the time the order was executed.
SECTION 7 - PROHIBITED USES OF THE SITE
In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Site or its content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts; (c) to violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances; (d) to infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others; (e) to harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability; (f) to submit false or misleading information; (g) to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code; (h) to collect or track the personal information of others; (i) to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape; or (j) to interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service or any related website. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service for violating any of these prohibited uses.
SECTION 8 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY; WARRANTIES
We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the Service is at your sole risk.
In no case shall Loss and Liberation, our affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, or service providers be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind—including, without limitation, lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, or any similar damages—whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the Service or any products procured using the Service. Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or the limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

In the event that any provision of these Terms of Service is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service. Such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. We reserve the absolute right to deny access to our Services or cancel registration forms without notice if, in our sole judgment, you fail to comply with any term or provision of these Terms.
SECTION 10 - GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service, your use of the Site, and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions, proceedings, or disputes arising under this agreement must be brought exclusively within courts located in California.
